Çağla Güvelioğlu

Çağla Güvelioğlu is Global Communications Director at FL PR & Communications, as well as a journalist, communications professional and PMP-certified project manager. She began her journalism career in 2000 and worked with Voice of America’s Turkish Service in Washington before reporting from New York, covering international affairs and conducting interviews across diplomacy, health and science. After nearly two decades in the United States, she returned to Türkiye in 2016.

Her work today spans international communications strategy, English-language content, media relations, project management and the moderation of multi-stakeholder events. In March 2025, she moderated the World Bank Group’s Europe and Central Asia stakeholder consultation on its new country engagement approach. She studied at the University of Maryland, College Park, and holds PMP and Sustainability Communications credentials.
