Editorial Principles and Source Policy

This policy explains the editorial standards applied to expert insights, guides, research summaries, case studies and corporate pages published by FL PR & Communications. Our aim is to give readers information that is clear, auditable and presented in its proper context.

Scope and accountability

These principles cover Turkish and English editorial material on flprcomms.com. The named author and publishing organisation remain accountable for each item. Client review, brand input or technology assistance does not transfer that responsibility. We distinguish reporting, analysis and general information from promotional claims.

FL PR is a communications agency. Content concerning health, law, finance or regulation is not professional advice. For high-stakes claims, we prioritise current official material and attributable evidence from appropriately qualified specialists.

Source selection and verification

  • We prefer current primary sources for regulation, statistics, product details and statements made by an organisation.
  • We check material facts against a second reliable source when the claim warrants it, and distinguish facts from analysis and inference.
  • We assess publication date, scope, methodology and material interests. We include an access date when it helps readers judge currency.
  • We do not present anonymous or unverifiable assertions as settled facts. Significant uncertainty and research limits are stated.
  • Links help readers reach supporting material; linking to a source does not imply wholesale endorsement of it.

Authorship, review and updates

Expert insights identify the author, publication date and, where relevant, the date of a substantial update. Author biographies describe experience and organisational relationships accurately. Before publication, an accountable editor reviews material claims, citations, language, framing and reader value.

We reassess time-sensitive pages when new evidence, regulation or a material product change emerges. Content that can no longer be updated usefully may be archived, redirected or retained with historical context. A last-updated date changes only when the content has been substantively revised.

Corrections and feedback

A verified error is corrected in the copy, headline, date, link or structured data as appropriate to its significance. For a material change affecting meaning, we aim to add an update note. Minor edits that do not alter meaning, such as spelling corrections, may not be separately announced.

To report an error, sourcing concern or conflict of interest, email asset@flcommunications.co.uk with the page URL and relevant evidence. Reports are assessed on their merits; a request alone does not guarantee removal.

AI-assisted work

AI tools may assist with research direction, transcription, outlining, translation, formatting and quality checks. We do not publish a source, quotation or factual claim generated by a tool without independent verification. An accountable person makes the final decisions on selection, context, accuracy and publication.

We do not use AI assistance to fabricate authorship, field experience or independent reporting. Where synthetic imagery or substantially generated material could affect a reader’s assessment, we aim to provide appropriate context.

Earned, paid and client-supplied material

We report earned editorial visibility separately from sponsored, advertorial, distribution-network or paid placements. Where content has a material commercial relationship, we disclose it in a way readers can understand. Clients may check facts, but we do not imply that FL PR controls the editorial decisions of independent publications.

Case studies use only client information, results and evidence approved for publication. Confidential information, personal data and contract-protected details are not published without appropriate authority. Estimated reach, advertising-value equivalents and other derived metrics are not presented as definitive results without explaining the method.

Independence and conflicts of interest

We disclose a material relationship involving an author, the agency or a client when it could reasonably affect how the content is assessed. Partnerships, memberships, awards and recognition are published only when a verifiable name, date and supporting record exist. Work for a brand does not imply endorsement of every product or position held by that brand.
